DescriptionStenographic notebook used by Ann Rose to record her personal experiences while her husband, Waymon Rose, served on the jury during Jack Ruby's murder trial. Nine pages of the notebook's paper have been used, on the front only; a tenth page of similar size has been added. Almost all of the text is written in pencil. Jury selection for the Ruby trial began in early 1964. The trial ended on March 14, 1964 when Jack Ruby was found guilty of murder with malice. In addition to this journal, Ann Rose kept scrapbooks on the subject of President Kennedy's assassination and its aftermath for more than 30 years.
