DescriptionOriginal black and white negative by a Dallas Morning News photographer. This image shows the Texas School Book Depository building during the spring of 1964. The photographer stood near the western edge of Dealey Plaza looking back up Elm Street toward the Depository building. According to the Hertz sign atop the building, the temperature was 65 degrees.
