DescriptionCourtroom pencil sketch on paper by Charles Fisher. The sketch shows District Attorney Henry Wade for the prosecution during the trial of Jack Ruby on March 10, 1964. The sketch shows Wade seated at the attorney's table wearing a suit with one hand raised towards his face. He is shown in profile with a series of papers resting on the table in front of him. Two other indistinct figures are outlined behind the figure of Wade. The caption in the bottom right reads "D.A. Wade, Jack Ruby Murder trial, Dallas 3/10/64." The artist's signature: "C. Fisher" is at bottom right, underneath the sketch. Charles "Chuck" Fisher was the art director at KRLD-TV in 1963. Fisher made the pencil sketches during the trial of Jack Ruby for KRLD-TV after the judge barred cameras from the courtroom.
Curatorial Commentary
