DescriptionMemorial program titled "Memorial to John F. Kennedy" from a service held by the Democratic National Committee on January 11, 1964, at Arlington National Cemetery. Front of the program has a line drawing of the hillside at Arlington National Cemetery showing President Kennedy's grave and the eternal flame surrounded by a picket fence with trees and Arlington House rendered in the far background near the top of the program. Superimposed over Arlington House is the text "Memorial to John F. Kennedy". Printed along the lower front edge of the program is the text "Arlington National Cemetery, January 11, 1964". Inside the program is the following text: "On January 11, 1964, the members and officers of the Democratic National Committee said a prayer beside the grave of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated on November 22, 1963." See media attachments for the full text of the prayer given by Chaplain Colonel Kenneth L. Ames, which is also printed inside the program. On the back of the program is a list of officers and members of the Democratic National Committee.
