Description35mm color slide of a protester in front of the Texas School Book Depository holding a handmade cardboard sign that reads "SUPPORT V-N POLICY". Dealey Plaza was the site of many protests in the 1960s both in favor of and against the Vietnam War.
Curatorial Commentary
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza has used this color photograph from April 1967 on several occasions to demonstrate how the plaza became a site of social activism in the years following the Kennedy assassination. The Museum continues to document protests and demonstrations in Dealey Plaza to the present day. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
