I miss you. Love Daddy"
Curatorial Commentary
Donor R. Lee Huffman was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army assigned to the Transportation Division at the White House from 1961 to 1966. He purchased this postcard at the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth and mailed it to his son on the morning of Friday, November 22, 1963.  Huffman was still at the Hotel Texas when the assassination took place in Dallas, just two and a half hours after this postcard was postmarked in Fort Worth. - Stephen Fagin, Associate Curator
