DescriptionBlack and white photograph of workers removing a section of curb in Dealey Plaza for the FBI on August 5, 1964. A group of men is gathered around the curb with jackhammers and other tools, removing a section of curb that contained a possible bullet mark from a shot that missed the presidential limousine. The photographer faced east, toward downtown, from the median between Main and Commerce streets. This copy of a photograph was part of FBI Special Agent Lyndal Shaneyfelt's Kennedy assassination file; Shaneyfelt assisted in the FBI investigations of the assassination conducted on behalf of the Warren Commission in 1964.
