DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Sharon Weber. Weber's mother worked at the Dallas Trade Mart in 1963 and got special permission for her children to observe the luncheon from the second floor balcony. After learning of the assassination, Weber went downstairs and saved a yellow rose from the head table. Interview conducted at Ms. Weber's home on March 19, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is sixteen minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary
As shown and discussed during this interview, Sharon Weber saved and later framed a yellow rose that she took from the head table at the Dallas Trade Mart luncheon on November 22, 1963. At the time of this oral history in 2010, she donated the rose to the Museum. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
