DescriptionVideotaped Living History public program with Jerry Kasten. Kasten was a social studies teacher at Bryan Adams High School in 1963. As a member of the volunteer Dallas Police Reserves, he spent the weekend of the Kennedy assassination at police headquarters. He was working crowd control on Commerce Street at the time of the Oswald shooting on November 24, 1963. Program conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on September 19, 2015 by Stephen Fagin. The program is fifty-three minutes long.

Jerry Kasten passed away on February 17, 2021. In addition to this 2015 Living History program, he recorded an oral history with the Museum on April 30, 2013. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
