Description
Original black and white 35mm negative on Kodak Tri X Pan Film taken by Dallas Morning News photographer Bill Winfrey. The image shows five members of the Warren Commission standing in the middle of Elm Street in Dealey Plaza, facing in the general direction of the "grassy knoll." Warren Commission members and staff include (left to right): John McCloy, Allen Dulles, counsel David Belin, and Texas Attorney General Waggoner Carr. The Commission visited the assassination scene to get a better understanding of what happened.
