Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald photographer William Allen. This photograph shows President Kennedy speaking in the parking lot of the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth at about 8:45 a.m. on the day of the assassination. Others seen in the photograph are, left to right: Texas State Senator Donley "Don" Kennard (at left edge), Texas Senator Ralph Yarborough, Texas Governor John Connally, and Vice President Lyndon Johnson.
As of 2011, this location is the planned site for a "JFK Tribute" including an eight foot bronze sculpture of President Kennedy. - Gary Mack, Curator
