Curator's Notes

Other Kennedy campaign jewelry included the PT-109 tie pin and bracelet (see 2012.067.0001 and 2008.031.002) and a chain bracelet with links of portraits of Kennedy's wife and children.  Items like these promoted Kennedy's heroism and young family.  [Citation: Campaigning for President: Memorabilia from the Nation's Finest Private Collection by Jordan M.
