Curator's Notes

Anne Shield's sister, Martha Grossman, also recorded an interview for the Museum's ongoing Oral History Project in 2018. Inspired by President Kennedy, Grossman and her husband joined the Peace Corps shortly after the assassination. After training, they served in Colombia in South America from 1964 to 1966. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
