On the open door, on the left side, is a presidential seal.\r\n\r\nMrs. Kennedy, wearing her pink suit, has stepped off the stairs and is walking, her right arm partially raised as Vice President Johnson clasps her forearm.  She holds the strap of her purse in her left hand.  President Kennedy is a few stair steps behind her two steps from the bottom; his head is bowed.  Nellie Connally is behind the president about half way down the stairs and Governor Connally is behind her.  There are two other men coming out of the plane behind the governor.  \r\n\r\nStanding on the left side of the stairs is Vice President Johnson at the head of a line of dignitaries waiting to greet President and Mrs. Kennedy.  Lady Bird Johnson stands beside him, holding a bouquet of yellow roses, though she is obscured by the man standing in line behind her (only the bouquet is visible).  On either side of the base of the stairs, there is a man in uniform saluting, but the man on the left side of the image is obscured from view by Vice President Johnson.
