The photograph was taken by Tom C. Dillard, Chief Photographer at The Dallas Morning News. The photograph was taken at Marina Oswald's Richardson, Texas home.

In the photograph, Marina sits at one end of a couch. Behind her is a window with blinds covered by sheer curtains. In front of her is a chair on which June and Rachel are sitting. She has her right hand on the back of the chair and her left hand on its armrest. Marina is positioned so that her body faces the camera, but her attention is directed toward the left side of the image. Marina is wearing a white sundress with a light, circular pattern on it.

June Oswald, a toddler, is leaning back into the chair, her legs bent in front of her and her feet on the seat of the chair. She is looking at her feet. Rachel Oswald, an infant, sits on the chair, learning forward with her hands on either side of her feet in front of her. She stares directly into the camera. June is wearing a frilly, light-colored jumper and Rachel is wearing a simple white dress.

The chair is setting on a shag carpet; a hardwood floor can be seen on the left side.</value></field><field label="Classifications" name="classification"><value>Photographs</value></field><field label="Id" name="id"><value>64071</value></field><field label="Width" name="width"><value>5.6000000000</value></field><field label="Height" name="height"><value>5.6000000000</value></field><field label="Source ID" name="sourceId"><value>12212</value></field><field label="Object" name="culture"><value>Negative (b&w)</value></field><field label="Depth" name="depth"><value>0E-10</value></field><field label="Description" name="labelText"><value>Original black and white negative by Dallas Morning News chief photographer Tom Dillard.
