Shipp was stationed at the Trade Mart to cover the president's arrival, then hurried to Parkland Hospital after the president's limousine raced past the Trade Mart without stopping.  This camera, which did not have sound capability, was typical of those used by television photographers in 1963."},"invno":{"label":"Object number","value":"1996.026.0001"},"description":{"label":"Description","value":"Model DR 16mm movie camera with one inch lens, 2 inch lens, and wide angle lens.  Hand spring wound camera was used by Bert Shipp, working for WFAA-Channel 8, on November 22, 1963 to record the Presidential motorcade going north on Industrial in front of the Trade Mart after the assassination on their way to Parkland Hospital.  Later filmed the Parkland exterior with the Presidential limosine, red roses, blood-stained backseat and on-lookers.
