In the aftermath of the Kennedy assassination, Bradshaw assisted investigators by providing them with access to Lee Havey Oswald's library records. At the time of the assassination, Oswald had one outstanding library book in his Dallas Public Library file, The Shark and the Sardines (1961) by former Guatemalan President Juan Jose Arevalo. The American introduction to this book proclaimed it to be "a controversial book...that speaks out against your State Department's dealings with the peoples of Latin America during the Twentieth Century."
Decades later, as a founding board member of the Dallas County Historical Foundation, Bradshaw supervised fundraising for The Sixth Floor exhibit. Under her direction, the foundation raised the $1.5 million necessary to open the exhibit by Presidents Day, February 20, 1989. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
