Program is printed on cream-colored paper with all graphics and text printed in black; front right edge of program is a torn paper edge, reverse right edge is a cut paper edge.
Front of the program has a line drawing of the hillside at Arlington National Cemetery showing President Kennedy's grave and the eternal flame surrounded by a picket fence with trees and Arlington House rendered in the far background near the top of the program. Superimposed over Arlington House is the text "Memorial to John F. Kennedy". Printed along the lower front edge of the program is the text "Arlington National Cemetery, January 11, 1964".
The inside left side of the program has the following text printed in an oversized font:
"On January 11, 1964, the
members and officers of
the Democratic National
Committee said a prayer
beside the grave of the
35th President of the United
States, John F. Kennedy,
who was assassinated on
November 22, 1963."
The inside right side of the program has the printed text of the prayer given at President Kennedy's graveside by Chaplain Colonel Kenneth L. Ames, Military District of Washington. (See media attachments for full text of prayer.)
