An acquaintance of Jack Ruby prior to the shooting, he was later assigned guard duty for Ruby in prison and later at Parkland Hospital.  Mr. Maddox recorded a videotaped oral history interview on 3/7/2002, and he also participated in two subsequent videotaped oral history interviews on 6/4/2004,  focusing on his relationship with Jack Ruby and the Ruby trial, and on 5/8/2006, focusing on his career as a Dallas County deputy sheriff and race relations in the city during the 1960s.</schema:description><schema:artForm>Oral Histories</schema:artForm><schema:copyrightHolder>The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza</schema:copyrightHolder><schema:url>https://emuseum.jfk.org/objects/21466/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></rdf:RDF>
