DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Don Archer. A Dallas police auto theft detective assigned to the Trade Mart during President Kennedy's visit, Mr. Archer later witnessed Jack Ruby shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald and interviewed Ruby that afternoon. Shortly after Oswald died, Archer informed Ruby that he was going to be charged with murder. Archer testified at Ruby's trial in 1964. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on March 11, 2002 by Gary Mack, Stephen Fagin and Arlinda Abbott. The interview is one hour and one minute long.
