DescriptionBook titled "Aftermath of an Execution: The burial and final rites of LEE HARVEY OSWALD as told by his mother." The book is written by Marguerite Oswald and describes the burial and funeral service of her son at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 25, 1963. The book was sold for $1.00.
The 32-page booklet was published by Challenge Press in Dallas in 1965. The author describes the preparations for her son's burial, as well as funeral rites, and her ongoing care of Oswald's gravesite. The text is accompanied by full-page black and white photographs of the cemetery and burial service, including images of the pallbearers, reporters and the Oswald family in mourning. The book also includes copies of forms filled out by Miller's Funeral Home regarding Lee Harvey Oswald's vital statistics and burial preferences, as well as a Funeral Service Order and Agreement completed on November 24, 1963.
