DescriptionLIFE Magazine dated December 6, 1963, Vol. 55, No. 23; 160 pages. Front cover features a full-color, full-page image of Jacqueline Kennedy with her children, Caroline and John F. Kennedy, Jr., standing at the top of the steps of the White House waiting for President John F. Kennedy's funeral procession to arrive. A wide vertical black bar is on the left side of the front cover with a caption printed in white text: "Mrs. Kennedy, Caroline And John Jr. Wait To Join Procession To Capitol". The feature article about President Kennedy's funeral, titled "President Kennedy is Laid to Rest", begins on page 38 and includes full-color photographic images of the funeral. Supplementary articles include: "Mrs. Kennedy's Decisions Shaped All the Solemn Pageantry", beginning on page 48 with black and white images; "In Texas a Policeman and an Assassin Are Laid to Rest Too", beginning on page 51 with black and white photographs; and "End to Nagging Rumors: The Six Critical Seconds", on page 52F. Other editorial articles related to President Kennedy's funeral occur throughout the magazine: Page 3: Editor's Note, "Caroline said, 'I only cried twice'," by Managing Editor George P.
