The photograph was taken by a photographer from The Dallas Morning News.\r\n\r\nIn the image there are nine papers which are copies of documents and photographs relating to Lee Harvey Oswald; the papers in the image have been spread out on a flat surface. Some of the photographs (in the lower left corner) appear to be of Lee Harvey Oswald posing with his rifle in the backyard of his apartment building; others appear to have been taken in Russia. \"United States Marine Corps\" can be read on some of the documents. The text on the documents is not entirely clear.\r\n\r\nThe documents appear to have been spread out on what might be a wood surface to be photographed.\r\n\r\n\"KODAK SAFETY--FILM\" is printed at the top of the negative.
