Image shows the sniper's perch area on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository building on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. The sixth floor window can be seen on the right, and a wall of cardboard textbook boxes can be seen on the left. Of the three stacked boxes in the center of the frame, the top two boxes have "TEN ROLLING READERS" printed on their sides.
Curatorial Commentary
It is unclear which Dallas Morning News photographer took this image. Stored with this image is another photograph that was taken on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository that does have photographer Jack Beers' name stamped on it.  This photograph could also be Jack Beers' work or it could have been taken by another Dallas Morning News staff photographer. - Stephanie Allen-Givens, Collections and Exhibits Manager
