DescriptionOne large canvas banner supporting John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson for the 1960 presidential campaign. This banner is from the Kennedy/Johnson campaign office in Tom Green County, Texas (whose county seat is the city of San Angelo). The banner, approximately 11 feet long, is made of white canvas and there is a grommet in each corner. The left side of the banner is red, with white text reading, "KENNEDY / For President." The right side is blue, with white text reading, "JOHNSON / For Vice President." There is a white star in the center.
