In 1975 Maysles and his late brother, David, produced and directed the documentary film "Grey Gardens," an intimate portrait of Jacqueline Kennedy’s aunt and cousin. 

Interview conducted at Mr. Maysles' office in New York City on January 8, 2004 by Stephen Fagin.
