DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Bill Ceverha. A reporter for KRLD-TV in 1963, Ceverha was on vacation in Chicago at the time of the Kennedy assassination. In 1964, he covered the Jack Ruby trial for KRLD-TV and Westinghouse Broadcasting. Ceverha later became active in politics and served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1979 to 1989. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on May 2, 2005 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-nine minutes long.

Mr. Ceverha passed away on August 1, 2023. During his ten years in the Texas House of Representatives, he served as a Republican during the 65th to 70th Texas legislatures.
