In addition to this 2006 oral history, he participated in a Museum public program later that same year, entitled, \"Call to Action: The SNCC Experience in Dallas,\" where he reunited with his friends, Ernest McMillan and Bishop Mark Herbener, to discuss their local activism during the Civil Rights Movement.
