A longtime statistician and political analyst, Weiser served as president of the Dallas County Young Democrats in 1962-63. In 1960, he volunteered locally for the Kennedy campaign, and a month before the assassination, he attended the Adlai Stevenson event in Dallas on U.N. Day. In the early 1970s, Weiser drafted new congressional district maps for Dallas, later approved by the U.S. Supreme Court, and advocated single-member voting districts for the state, which allowed for more minority representation. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on April 24, 2006 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and fifty minutes long.
