On the same day as her oral history, her husband, Dallas Times Herald photographer Darryl Heikes, recorded an interview about his experiences during the assassination weekend, photographing the Kennedy motorcade, the Tippit shooting scene and Lee Harvey Oswald in police custody. In 2014, Darryl Heikes returned to the Museum to participate in a reunion with other Dallas Times Herald photographers: Dallas Times Herald 1963 (youtube.com).
