Oswald ran into this theater after also killing Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit in his escape from downtown. Oswald was spotted by the box office attendant, Mrs. Julia Postal, as he ran into the theater without buying a ticket. She notified Dallas Police after hearing sirens. She thought maybe they were looking for this man but had no idea why. Fifteen Dallas Policemen converged on the theater and captured Oswald. Walker took photos of the motorcade from the corner of Main and Market Street. Following the assassination, he also photographed the scene at Dealey Plaza and outside the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff.
