DescriptionLetter and envelope sent to Jack Ruby in jail from Grace Bevers of Mineral Wells, Texas. Letter is hand-written in blue ink on yellow lined legal paper and reads as follows: "Mineral Wells, Texas November 14, 1965 Dearest Jack: Last week went by and I didn't write you. I have been so busy - But I thought about you. As always. Hope you're O.K. Dear? I send word to you by Eva. Hope she doesn't forget to tell you. It's the best I can do. God bless you Jack- your friend, Grace Bevers. P.S: I could write volumes, yes I could write a book. but for now this will have to do." Envelope is hand-addressed to: "Mr. Jack Ruby 505 Main St. Dallas, Texas." Envelope is postmarked: "MINERAL WELLS TEX. / NOV 17 AM 1965" and stamped with a 5 cent U.S. postage stamp depicting Adlai Stevenson.
