After retiring in 1986, he spent one year working on research for The Sixth Floor exhibit in the Washington, D.C. offices of exhibition designers Bob Staples and Barbara Charles. 

Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on February 16, 2009 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is twenty-five minutes long.
