DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Oliver "Buck" Revell. A captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, Revell joined the FBI in 1964 in part because of his interest in the Kennedy assassination. During his long career with the Bureau from 1964 to 1994, he achieved the rank of Executive Assistant Director-Investigations (SES-6). Revell worked with the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations investigation and, as Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Division, supervised the release of the Dallas FBI office's Kennedy assassination-related files in the early 1990s.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on May 20, 2009 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and forty-two minutes long.
