DescriptionVideotaped Living History educational program with Dr. Robert V. Walker. A medical researcher and doctor of oral surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in 1963, Walker was briefly inside Trauma Room One as an observer during the treatment of President Kennedy following the assassination.
Program conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on July 29, 2009 by Stephen Fagin. The program is forty-seven minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryAfter recording an oral history with Dr. Robert Walker in March 2009, I invited him back to the Museum a few months later as part of our Living History summer series for students participating in Education In Action's Lone Star Leadership Camp program. Unfortunately, this ended up being Dr. Walker's only Museum program. He passed away on April 28, 2011. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
