Fisher, at the time, was the only full-time Tarrant County deputy sheriff on horseback. Despite his youthful appearance, he was in charge of all the other law enforcement seen on horseback outside the Hotel Texas. Fisher recorded a videotaped oral history in 2009 and has also participated in educational programming at the Museum. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
