Curatorial Commentary
The Love Field control tower and executive offices appear in the background.  In 2012, color photographs of the scene taken from the tower (1999.031.0001 - .0006) were used to pinpoint the location of Air Force One when LBJ was sworn in as president three hours later.  Noel Cook, an FAA employee at the time, donated his pictures to the Museum in 1999. - Gary Mack, Curator
The U.S. Secret Service agent next to President Kennedy, with a jacket over his arm, is Roy Kellerman, who sat in the front passenger seat of the Kennedy limousine during the Dallas parade. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
