DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Margaret H. Jordan. The first African American graduate of Georgetown University School of Nursing, Jordan attended the March on Washington on August 28, 1963. Since moving to Dallas in the 1980s, she has been an active community leader, serving on a number of boards including the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Dallas Museum of Art and AT&T Performing Arts Center. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on March 29, 2011 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-seven minutes long.
