Since I was scheduled to speak at the Oral History Association annual conference in Denver later in the year, rather than record a telephone interview, we arranged for Ms. Chazdon to meet me at my hotel to record a video interview. As it turned out, we recorded her oral history inside a conference room that, just a few moments earlier, had been the site of a panel discussion about the process of recording oral histories. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
