Curatorial Commentary

Mortuary owner and funeral director Vernon Oneal (he did not use an apostrophe) drove his firm's most expensive casket to Parkland Hospital and backed into the emergency bay. He was accompanied by his bookkeeper, Ray Gleason.

Dallas Morning News columnist Tony Zoppi can be seen behind poliecemen at right. Zoppi helped carry the casket into Parkland Hospital.  - Gary Mack, Curator
