"Carl" Day leaving the Texas School Book Depository, walking across Houston Street toward the Dal-Tex Building, carrying the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle that was found on the sixth floor of the Book Depository on November 22, 1963. Day was head of the Dallas Police Crime Scene Search Unit.
