The pass is a gold-colored metal pin.

The pin has a rectangular portion at the top with "Working Press" imprinted in blue letters and "1961" in relief at the top.  Attached to the bottom center of the rectangle is a circle with a star in the center and a blue ring reading "State Fair of Texas, Dallas" in gold raised letters.  Both the circular and rectangular parts of the pin have borders of leaves in relief.  

The back of the pin has a silver-colored straight bar pin back with a swivel clasp.
