The images were taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer Bill Beal of the crowds awaiting the presidential motorcade in Dallas on the morning of November 22, 1963. The images were taken from a balcony at the Adolphus Hotel. 


Section 1 contains three images labeled (#3A-5A): one image is a camera misfire and two images are shots of the crowd awaiting the motorcade on Main Street. 

Section 2 contains six images labeled (#6A-11A): three images of the crowd awaiting the motorcade on Main Street, two images of people looking out of upper floor windows for the motorcade, one image of a Dallas policeman with the crowd gathered on Main Street awaiting the motorcade.
