The images were taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer Bill Beal from a balcony of the Adolphus Hotel overlooking Main Street of the crowds and presidential motorcade in Dallas on the morning of November 22, 1963.

Section 1 contains six images labeled (#2A-7A): all six images show the presidential motorcade as it progresses along Main Street on November 22, 1963. 

Section 2 contains six images labeled (#(L J F) -13A): one image of the presidential motorcade on Main Street, three images of the occupants of the presidential limousine, one image of the vehicle behind the presidential limousine containing members of the Secret Service, one image of Dallas Times Herald staff photographer, Bob Jackson, in the press car during the presidential motorcade, and one showing a policeman with the crowd gathered on Main Street awaiting the motorcade.
