DescriptionOriginal 35mm black and white negative taken by an unidentified Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. The image shows Dallas County Criminal District Attorney Henry Wade conducting a press conference immediately following Lee Harvey Oswald's appearance at the midnight press showing at the Dallas Police Department headquarters. Ike Pappas of WNEW Radio is the man with dark hair standing just right of the center of the image; he is looking toward Wade, who faces away from the photographer. Darryl Heikes and another, unidentified, Dallas Times Herald photographer attended the midnight press showing. It is not known which of the two photographers took this picture.
