These images were taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer William Allen. The strip includes images taken of the police investigations at the Texas School Book Depository after the assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963. 

Section 1 contains five full images labeled (#1A-5A) and two partial images (one unnumbered and one labeled (#6A), three images of a camera misfire (one partial (unnumbered) and two full (#1A-2A), three images of Dallas Police Detectives, Leslie Montgomery and Marvin Johnson, on the steps of the Texas School Book Depository with the rifle bag, Dr. Pepper bottle and bag containing chicken bones, one partial image (#6A) which shows Dallas Police Detective, Marvin Johnson, on the steps of the Texas School Book Depository holding the Dr. Pepper bottle and bag of chicken bones addressing the reporters gathered there.  

Section 2 contains six images labeled (#7A-12A), one image of Dallas Police Detective, Marvin Johnson, on the steps of the Texas School Book Depository holding the Dr. Pepper bottle and bag of chicken bones addressing the reporters gathered there, three images of Lieutenant J.C. 'Carl' Day pointing to the location where the rifle was found on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository on November 22, 1963, two images of an unidentified Dallas Police officer pointing to the location of where the rifle was found on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository on November 22, 1963.
