The images were taken by Dallas Times Herald staff photographer William Allen. The images are of the police investigations in Dealey Plaza following the assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963.

Section 1 contains six images labeled (# 9-14), two images of the view from the grassy knoll looking south east towards the crowds on Elm Street, two images of the crowd gathered outside of the Texas School Book Depository, one image of the exterior of the Texas School Book Depository, and one image of Dallas Police officers outside the Texas School Book Depository on November 22, 1963.
