The images were taken by an unidentified Dallas Times Herald staff photographer. The images are of scenes within the Dallas Police Department during the midnight press conference and immediately afterwards on the night of November 22, 1963 and the early morning hours of November 23, 1963. 

Section 1 contains two images labeled (# 4-5), one image of a camera misfire, and one image of an unidentified Dallas Police detective with the materials for conducting the paraffin test at the Dallas Police Department headquarters. 

Section 2 contains six images labeled (#6-11), two images of Dallas Police Detective, W.E. 'Pete' Barnes, with palm print of Lee Harvey Oswald, one image of the hallway outside of the Homicide and Robbery bureau at the Dallas Police Department headquarters, one image of Lee Harvey Oswald being led into the lineup room for the midnight press conference, and two images of Lee Harvey Oswald during the midnight press conference at the Dallas Police Department. 

Section 3 contains six images labeled (#12-17), two images of Lee Harvey Oswald during the midnight press conference at the Dallas Police Department, and four images of Dallas Criminal District Attorney Henry Wade's press conference immediately after Lee Harvey Oswald was escorted from the lineup room at the Dallas Police Department.
