Transcript is pages 1206 - 1540, on thin onionskin paper and the front and back covers are thick gray paper. There is a handwritten number 11 circled in pencil in the top right corner of the front cover.
Melvin Belli, Joe Tonahill, Phil Burleson, and Sam Brody spoke for Ruby; Henry Wade, Dallas County District Attorney, was the prosecutor, assisted by Jim Bowie, Bill Alexander and Frank Watts. The presiding judge was Judge Joe B. Brown.
Prospective jurors examined: Martha L. Layton, Margaret B. Hill, D. S. Roseborough, Emanuel Allen, John Tom Cox, Luther E. Dickerson, J. Leonard Stotts, W. W. Dollison, Herschel C. Martin, William W. Holland, Douglas J. Sowell, Gerald Williams, Albert F. Pfleider, Harry King Bean, Olivia Baynes, Dale L. Reynolds, Ellie W. Gunnels, Ruby McCrummen, Harry A. Thompson, H. G. Pate, Mrs. Grace Lee Armstrong and Mrs. Suzanne W. Mosher.
Luther Dickerson and Douglas Sowell were selected to the jury.
