Curatorial Commentary

Flamboyant local resident Cosette Faust-Newton was the subject of an article by author Cynthia Shearer in the Spring 2014 issue of Legacies Dallas History Journal. That article may be found here: Legacies: A History Journal for Dallas and North Central Texas, Volume 26, Number 1, Spring 2014 - Page 28 - The Portal to Texas History (unt.edu). The following year, I also included Ms. Faust-Newton in a Legacies article about Dallas memorialization of the Kennedy assassination: Legacies: A History Journal for Dallas and North Central Texas, Volume 27, Number 2, Fall 2015 - Page 24 of 67 - The Portal to Texas History (unt.edu).

Ms. Faust-Newton's museum and this Christmas card were also discussed as part of the Museum multimedia lecture, "How Dallas Remembered President Kennedy," in June 2015: How Dallas Remembered President Kennedy - YouTube. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
